Caroline, like Netanyahu, is a realist. She understands the situation and precisely why a two-state solution and true lasting peace with the Palestinians (not just Hamas) is not possible. 75% of Palestinians don't want a two-state solution and most of the 25% that say they do only see it as a step toward eventually a single Palestinian state "from the river to the sea." A two-state solution would inevitably mean the Palestinians taking control of the West Bank, which they just as inevitably would turn into a terror base like they did with Gaza. But the geographic proximity and elevation would make attacks on Israel much more devastating. There is a reason why Fatah has said Israel can't survive the 1967 borders. Incidentally, leftism seems to be the same poison in Israel that it is in the U.S.
